So if you’re writing a song, and then decide to change part of it SLIGHTLY there’s a good chance you’re going to have to completely rewrite that part. And the only way to get it back is through the undo button or rewriting it. You can’t just scroll down to it.įurthermore it is so insanely inconsistent, it’s like the program doesn’t even know what it wants to do, often times you make a change and it AUTOMATICALLY makes a WHOLE load of changes around it, sometimes that’s helpful sure, but if you click the buttons to put it back the way it was it doesn’t go back the same, no, no, no, for whatever ungodly reason it decides “nah let’s not do that let’s do it differently” and sometimes it doesn’t even end up the same as it was before, not just the notation but the actual sound. If you have a big tab you’re working on you have to click somewhere in the lowest point visible, scroll, click again at the lowest point, scroll and continue doing that until you get to where you want to be. I genuinely have no clue how on earth it has such a high rating, the people rating it must be blind or something.įor just a few examples, when you try scroll down it will automatically drag you BACK to where you were, ALL THE TIME. Seems to be a very active community and I like the indepth videos for patreons only. The number of completely infuriating issues with this program is absolutely ridiculous. It’s helped to speed up my progress and build my confidence now that I’ve picked up the guitar again after such a long time. I’ve been drinking from the fire hose of awesome guitar teaching you’ve put together. Really enjoyed this lesson! oh.and dang - no secret word of the day! I have learned that the tab instruction is probably the most important core skill I have learned from these lessons - I have actually been able to improve construction of my music and share with others (including Bernth). Thanks very much.Īnother really good one Bernth, thanks so much ! ![]() You’ve changed that! I’m seeing more gains in my technique, speed, and understanding over the last month or so than in the last 30 years.Īnother inspiring lesson Bernth. I wanted to improve, but never had the motivation and every option seemed dull and clinical. I also play flute and a couple of other wind instruments, I can sight read, but on guitar I just stayed as a simple chords/simple scales player that whole time. Just wanted to say a big thank you… I have being “playing” for about 3 decades. Welcome to our community, Andrei!! Great to have you here :) Great music theory topic□, 8s something that I really need. Thanks for all the videos I look forward to fresh new material. Thank you so much I’ve picked up my guitar again after 10 years of not playing (I was a drummer for a while) I have found a lot of inspiration and great work outs to get my fingers moving. On the exercise for targeting 3rds and 7ths, how come the D chord use F# and C, instead of F# and C#? I really appreciate it, and just upped my membership, so I can vote on up-coming topics! Play Guitar Better No Matter How You Read Music With TuxGuitar Better Than Nicklaus John Daly Once Compared. Thanks so much for all of the helpful replies. Also, the theory PDF doesn't list the chords on it, which would make it easier to relate the two notes in each bar to a chord. When I am improving I am tired of reverting back to the relative minor and shredding pentas.boring!Īh, so it's a D7 chord? The play along video listed it as just a D chord, which is why I assumed a maj7. Much appreciated for you to help us break out of the same ol ruts that have plagued me for years. ![]() ![]() I have always struggled with falling back into the good ol penta's and root soloing. I gigged for many many years and now just play a little here and there. ![]() I have been playing guitar since I was 12.
